Special Visit from Bowen Goats
We were delighted to welcome Wendy from BowenGoats back to Poppins, along with her adorable baby pygmy goats! It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to experience these gentle little animals up close and learn more about how they are cared for.
The children were absolutely fascinated by the goats and enjoyed gently stroking their soft fur, watching them explore and play, and observing their different personalities. There were plenty of smiles, giggles and excited conversations as the children discovered more about what goats eat, how they are cared for and what they need to stay happy and healthy.
Wendy shared lots of interesting facts with the children and patiently answered their many curious questions. The visit provided a wonderful hands-on learning experience, encouraging the children to be gentle, caring and respectful when interacting with animals.
A very big thank you to Wendy and Bowen Goats for bringing such a special experience to Poppins once again. The children thoroughly enjoyed their visit, and we loved seeing their excitement, curiosity and wonder throughout the morning! 🐐💕
